Today I want to talk a little about Food + Blogging with you and the experience(s) that I've been having through this process. Because believe me! It's (quite) a process. But if you love food + art + creativity, food blogging becomes a great way to communicate and express your knowledge, thoughts, and also your experiences in the kitchen. In a nutshell it becomes a beautiful way to connect with your artistic self and explore the "Picasso" in you (that's the way I see it). Creating all things food + art is something that I deeply enjoy doing and while having a blog is an awesome way to share with others my passion, sometimes my posts could result in failure unless I get organized + pre-plan my blog posts. I found out (after making the same mistakes repeatedly)  that having a Plan for my Blog Posts makes everything more easy + is a lot of fun too! First I couldn't figure out the 'How To' part to create a simple plan that could be easy for me to follow, but after repeated mistakes I finally got it! {Please insert dancing 'La Vida Loca' song} Yes, that's how happy I'm to share my little plan with you!

But before that let me tell you what happened in the process...ok?! So, when I first started blogging about three years ago, I couldn’t quite understand the meaning of “posting”. And by this I mean; that I didn’t know the amount of time that would take to create “one post”. Yes, just 'one post' (If you're just starting your food blog, please don't be disappointed! because I have the solution :)) I knew the kind of message I wanted to communicate in my posts, but as an newbie in the field of Blogging-Land I thought I could do it all {and I repeat all} in just a blink of an eye! So let's say that (to me) creating a post resulted to be as hard as ‘Planning the Perfect Meal to Impress the In-laws’.Really! Did I just accidentally bring back some memories to you?! I bet I did! Didn’t I? (insert your favourite In-laws memories here) :)

However, going back to Blogging-Land + Blog Posting, I didn’t know posting would change my everyday schedule so much. So first thing; I started organizing my time between “my real life + my online life”. I wanted to make my posting experiences more productive but mostly enjoyable, I mean I started this blog to create + share but to have fun too

So I decided to make some changes to my old posting routine and created these guidelines! Organizing my time and also doing my 'picassotime' with food+blog+posting is so much fun to me that I knew I needed to do something and make this 'posting process' more fun without getting frustrated because I couldn't do it all at once (+ it saved me endless hours of wasted hard work) So here it is for you; The Easy 6 Steps Guide To Food (blogging) Posting! It's an easy six step guide with suggestions that you can follow to get more organized (plus have 'more' fun) and get the best of both worlds; Creating + Posting.

I hope you find this helpful + have a lot of fun with your food-blogging-posting!!!

PS: Oh, yes! About the recipe... I wanted to share this Chicken Recipe because is part of what I do in this blog; I like sharing nourishing food and love food blogging (+ this chicken recipe is delicious + is easy to make + with this recipe 'You can impress the In-laws') No, really... is just a simple way of sharing with you what I love. Enjoy!

THE 6 EASY STEPS GUIDELINES TO FOOD POSTING

1- Create your own Google Calendar:

This is an awesome tool is completely free and easy enough to understand and use. Creating this calendar certainly helps organize activities, events and keep track of what you have been doing every day.

2- Plan Ahead for your next Delicious Post:

Pre-Plan your Recipe during your spare time. Write down your favorites and try to visualize the preparation of each dish to make sure you have the ingredients, the time and tools to prepare each one. Doing this will speed the process of your decision and it will help you save time.

3- Decide the day and time:

Remember to set the day and the exact time you’ll prepare, cook and photograph your dish. Particularly if you are planning to take photos of your dish.

4- Camera, Battery, Set, Light:

Always check ahead your photo camera battery levels. (Pre)-determine Time of the day and Table Settings-- whenever you can-- Arrange background, tablecloth, plates, silverware, glasses, etc. This will allow you to take advantage of natural light--when natural light is available. My best shoots are always the ones during daylight hours.

5- (Food-Posting) -Agent:

When on a mission, James Bond always has an escape plan. Be prepared for ‘The Unexpected’. Have some content and extra photos ready to post in times of emergency.

6- Keep a Food-Posting journal:

Complete the Food Posting Plan by keeping track of your progress. Take notes of what works for you and what didn’t. Most importantly enjoy what you are doing while posting and never (ever) believe nobody read your blog. Sure It will take some time and thought. But ‘Remember’ the whole world can see it and you never know who might be reading yours!
